What is the GOAL of the
Vernonia Cares Food Bank?
To provide three days worth of emergency groceries, once a month, to needy households in and around the Vernonia
area.
In 2008 we served an average
of:
• 142 households per month
• 412 people per month,
31% of whom were children and
14% of whom were senior citizens
• Used 330 hours of volunteer service
(28 people) per month
